Did you know that many new drivers don’t know how to pop the hood on their cars? Each year we see student’s cars with serious problems simply due to lack of knowledge.  This class introduces some basic car workings and needed maintenance to keep it reliable and safe. Our own Truckee High School graduate, Gary Gunter, will review the various dashboard warning lights and what they mean.  Students will pop the hood and identify the correct areas to check or add oil, washer fluid and coolant. Learning to check basic items such as tire pressure and tread will be reviewed. Don’t Blow Up Your Car is imperative for teen drivers to learn about vital car maintenance being safe out on the road,
