Our Story
Longtime Truckee residents Bill and Sheila Greeno founded German Import Garage in 2025 to meet the growing demand for specialized European vehicle service in Truckee and the Lake Tahoe region.
Their journey began in 2009 with the launch of Quality Automotive Servicing. Through a commitment to exceptional workmanship, honest service, and customer care, the business quickly grew. When the opportunity arose to create a shop dedicated to European vehicles, Bill and Sheila embraced the challenge and opened German Import Garage.
As business owners and active members of the community, Bill and Sheila believe that giving back to the town they love is just as important as providing exceptional automotive service. Building lasting relationships with their customers and investing in their team through ongoing training and professional development are at the heart of everything they do.
“We believe great service starts with a great team, so we invest in our team,” says Bill.
“And we believe a strong community starts with investing in that community,” adds Sheila.
