Super nice guys there and very sharp with european vehicles. They stock all the standard parts and do their best to get you in and out of there as soon as possible. Small shop but I highly recommend.

We've only taken our cars here a few times for various smog checks, etc and we've always been impressed. Yesterday we took our Trooper in because the back window wouldn't go up. They suspected it was the motor and the cost to do the whole repair would be about $400. We let them know that this was a vehicle we didn't want to spend a lot of money on, and if there was anyway to make it cheaper to please do that.I got a call from Bill the next day and he was happy to report that they were able to put the window back up and just disconnected the electrical. We were super thankful for the money they saved us!It is a clean shop with friendly guys, who even shake your hand when they are done. No need to mess around with some of the other shady auto shops in town!

Moved to Truckee from out of state recently. i went in to get a smog test done so i could register my car in CA. I have an aftermarket air intake on my STI that was missing its C.A.R.B. verification number stating it was "legal" in CA. So, i failed my first test because of that, then the shop guys assisted me in searching the Internet and contacting Cobb Tuning to get the number needed to pass the test. After 20min or so we were able to get it and they gave me a free retest as stated in their paperwork. Passed no problem after all their help from the two staff members. Everyone was very friendly with over the top service. thanks again guys

I had my required smog test done here. I chose to use them because I wasn't sure if my truck was going to pass and they re-test for free if it doesn't pass the first time. I was impressed by the professional service and quick turnaround.

Brought my truck here for a smog check after a very poor experience at another local station. I told them that my computer shows a fault on an O2 sensor that I replaced after my previous smog check failure, (the other station wanted to charge me $90 to tell me what the code was. One minute on the internet gave me the code answer). They offered to plug in their code reader to see of the issue had cleared prior to doing the smog check, (and prior to charging me anything). All was good, my truck passed, and I was very happy with the service. i will return.

After having been to pretty much every garage in Truckee, I ended up at this place by mistake (thinking I had called a different garage for an appointment). They were super helpful, fixed my van quickly, and for far less than another garage in town quoted me. I would recommend them highly, and am so relieved to have found an honest and polite mechanic in Truckee that isn't a total ripoff.
