His engagement with high school students, providing insights into this career path, showcases his commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals. Gary's exceptional communication skills, especially in explaining vehicle needs to customers, have made him highly regarded among the clientele.   2. Alakai Award from KUKUI for Quality Automotive Servicing: QAS has been honored with the Alakai award by industry partner KUKUI. The recognition is based on the businesses exemplary work under the Full Circle Community Support mission. Notably, QAS has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring future automotive professionals through apprenticeships, internships, and partnerships. The business has significantly contributed to the success of two apprentices who graduated from college and established careers as technicians. Furthermore, the business owners, Bill & Sheila Greeno, have made an extraordinary impact within the community through their investment in local workforce housing. Beginning with two apartments built on the property, they have expanded to include two additional workforce houses in Truckee, accommodating up to 10 local workers, some with families.
